About Me

Aboru, Aboye, Aboisese:

Iba Eleudumare, Oba Ate Rere K'Aye!! Honor to my Egun each and Every Day .. Giving Honor to Orisa every day -- Giving Honor to my Baba Baale Olukunmi Egbelade, Giving Honor to My Godmother Oyawumi!!!

I am the Daughter of the Wind -- my motto is - do no harm - I am a priestest of the Great Oya - Hekua Yansas ... I am a daughter of the Egun .. I am a daughter of Ifa .. I am a daughter of Orisa .. Sangooo!!!

I was born in the lovely town of Paw Paw, W.Va., in 1948 -- there I was trained by my grandmother to be able to hear and see beyond -- my grandmother's motto was "just you don't know -- does not mean that it is not so"...such a wise lady .. she had her hoodoo ways also and I used to watch her each and everyday -- her and my mom were Osainist and I have herited that from them and my Indian ancestory ... on both sides of my family there are Strong Indians .. my Great Grandmother was a Mayan Indian and also I have Cherokee from my Father's side ..

My forte is "reading" and osain ... with the help of my Egun and Oya I have been blessed to be able to read people and their situation and come up with the right solution for what ails them.  I have been able to see and hear better since my initiation.

Being a medium all of my life .. I have enjoyed the Hoodoo tradition in so many ways ... the Iyami come in the night and soar me away to the sky and I learn so much about our wonderful African tradition.

I have visited Africa ... that is where I was initiated into the mysteries of Oya and Sango ... my Godfather is Olukunmi Egbelade a great teacher and wise individual .. with many years of Yemonja and Dillogun training ... he has so many Hoodoo solutions lol .. you would be surprise .. but, nahhh you wouldn't because you know that is where it comes from.

I am an artist and lover of books .. I love photography and love people ... Ase Ase Ase

Mother Iya, your story touched me so deeply. May I ask where you are located. Also, are you a teacher of the Ancient Wisdom of our Ancestors?

Thank you for sharing your Illuminated Light, it was very refreshing.

Your Daughter, Sister
